Herman C. Brewer IV was admitted to practice law in the State of Washington in 2001. He has now been operating the Law Office of Herman C. Brewer IV, LLC for 15-plus years after initially working for a large law firm. The Law Office of Herman C. Brewer IV, LLC is located in Federal Way, Washington. Mr. Brewer has been a Federal Way Communities in Schools volunteer mentor.

Herman C. Brewer IV has served as a Captain in the US Army (Reserve) Judge Advocate Generals (JAG) Corps with the 6th JAG Detachment Legal Support Office (LSO) located at Joint Base Lewis-McCord, Washington. On November 4, 2007, Captain Brewer was called to serve his country on active duty for a 365 day deployment located at Killeen, Fort Hood, Texas in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Captain Brewer served as legal Assistance Attorney for III Corps at Fort Hood. Captain Brewer also earned the Army Commendation Medal and Welcome Home Warrior Citizen Award for his legal services while at Fort Hood. On November 30, 2011, Captain Brewer was honorably discharged from the United States Army.
